This event is completely free! Come ready to have your cup filled, your heart encouraged, and maybe even laugh a little. We’ll share biblical truth, encouragement for navigating hard seasons, meaningful fellowship, lessons and singing, plus a fun craft, lunch, goodies, and so much more. Come as you are — leave a little lighter.
What does the day look like?
Here is the schedule for our 6th - 12th grade girls!
8:30 - 9:00 Registration
9:00 - 9:15 Welcome and Devotional
9:20 - 10:05 Session 1
10:10 - 10:55 Session 2
11:00 - 11:30 Lunch (12 - 12:30 Adult Lunch)
11:30 - 12:15 Craft/Singing 1
12:20 - 1:05 Session 3
1:05 - 1:50 Session 4
1:55 - 2:40 Craft/Singing 2
2:40 - 3:00 Door Prizes and Closing!
Adult attendees will have their own dedicated sessions throughout the day, along with scheduled time to browse vendor booths and fellowship!
To best serve everyone attending, sessions are divided into a Girls Track (6th–12th grade) and an Adult Track. College-age girls may participate in either track. In order to preserve a comfortable and age-appropriate environment for our students, adult women will attend Adult Track sessions.
What is Girls' Day?
Girls Day is our annual girls only event where we have girls from our youth group lead the morning devotional, songs, and prayers. We then have breakout sessions and classes that seek to provide more spiritual growth and learning on our selected topic. We provide lunch and fellowship. We then have door prize giveaways that are meant to give encouragement, and event goodie bags to send home with all those that attended!
The Girls Day Ministry mission is to teach God's truth to young women in our community, foster Christian friendships, and provide sound spiritual guidance. Our vision for the Girls Day Ministry is to continue to be a platform for young women to bring more souls to Christ. This ministry specifically values providing an atmosphere of sound teaching to young women. We value encouraging our girls to find ways to serve and providing opportunities for our young women to step up and lead other young ladies to Christ. We provide a platform that encourages all our Christian sisters to use their unique talents and interests in serving others. We value time in fellowship and worship with our Sisters in Christ.
